In the Valentine's Day episode of Glee, Finn sets up a kissing booth, Blaine sets out to reveal his crush and Santana decides to get revenge on the couples of New Directions.

The episode opens on Puck pining for Lauren during class, pondering how you can't choose love. We get a flashback to when Puck needed to find a 12th member for Sectionals. Turns out he bribed Lauren with seven minutes in heaven -- but he apparently couldn't deliver more than three. "You're really not good at this," she says after kissing him. He's now totally in love with her, but she doesn't return the feelings.

Meanwhile, Finn is back to being the big man on campus after winning the football game. Even Becky asks him to be her Valentine. However, Finn only has eyes for Quinn. His new challenge: Kiss Quinn so she can see they still have feelings for each other.

Kurt and Blaine, meanwhile, are looking at Valentine's Day gifts. While Kurt is a cynic for this Hallmark holiday, Blaine loves it and wants to find the perfect gift for a certain special someone. Kurt thinks it's him, especially after Blaine buys him coffee, but I'm guessing this storyline is not going in that direction.

Back at glee club, Will assigns the New Directions a new project: Partner up and sing a love song. Finn, cashing in on his new found celebrity status, has decided to open a kissing booth to raise money for the club. "I've kissed Finn, and can I just say, not worth a buck," Santana offers. The club turns on Santana, saying that she's always putting people down, but Rachel takes it too far by saying Santana will end up being a stripper.

Over at Dalton, Blaine calls an emergency meeting with the Warblers. He's in love and wants the group to help serenade his crush off-campus. They are reluctant because the Warblers haven't performed in a relaxed setting since the '80s.They agree to go perform at the Gap, where Blaine's crush works. Poor Kurt, he's not the one Blaine likes. Called it.

Kurt vents to Rachel and Mercedes at a sleepover, where Rachel plots to pay $100 at the kissing booth so she can kiss Finn over and over. They encourage Kurt to go to the "Gap Attack" and scope out the competition.

After a failed attempt at asking Lauren out for Valentine's Day, Puck tries to woo her by singing "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen. Lauren seems to cave to his advances, as Santana looks on with anger and disappointment. Unfortunately, Lauren says the first love song anyone has ever sang to her happened made her feel like crap.

Over at the kissing booth, Quinn calls Finn out on his game, knowing he's only doing this so she'll kiss him. She says she won't do it because she doesn't want to hurt Sam, but even them talking has sent Sam into a flurry. He wonders why Quinn hasn't kissed Finn at the booth.

Rachel goes to the kissing booth, and Finn only kisses her on the cheek. She's pissed, and he figures out that she's still in love with him. He's still mad she cheated on him, but gives her a star necklace as a Valentine's Day gift. Despite the affection, he thinks she's right about them needing to be separate and alone for a while.

Mike and Artie, who have two of the coolest girlfriends in school, decide to sing Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" for their project. No drama, no arguments, just sweet, young love.

Later, Santana buys herself a Valentine's Day gift, saying that Puck can reimburse her later. She'll forget the Lauren-lapse and go with him to dinner. However, just as she's describing Lauren as a whale, guess who walks up? Lauren and Santana proceed to duke it out in the halls until Coach Bieste breaks it up.

To prove a point, Quinn goes to kiss Finn at the booth. Sam watches to see if there are still sparks between them, but it's much more: It's fireworks. He doesn't realize, but she does, and goes back to tell Finn to meet her the next day.

At the Gap, Blaine and the Warblers sing Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone," to his crush Jeremiah. Kurt looks on with jealousy, but it turns out, the Warblers' show gets Jeremiah fired from the Gap. He makes it clear that they're not dating and won't be since Blaine is underage and Jeremiah isn't out the closet.

Surrounded by all the couples in glee club, Santana realizes that she's all alone on Valentine's Day and that's just not acceptable. As soon as she notices the smirks on Quinn and Finn's faces, she knows they've been fooling around and decides to get revenge.

Posing as a candy striper, Santana goes into the nurses's office to help a kid with mono. In reality, she purposely gets mono from him and then goes and kisses Finn, whom she knows will later kiss Quinn.

Since Lauren still hasn't budged, Puck decides to get down on one knee and propose a date with a ring pop. Oh, I miss those yummy little lollipops. She finally agrees, but ends up standing him up. She admits the next day that she does like him, but wants to take things slow.

Finn and Quinn meet at the auditorium, but she's hesitant to hook up with him because it would make her a cheater again. She's unsure if she loves Sam, but wants to enjoy both Sam and Finn until she figures it out—and she does, with a mono germ-filled kiss.

Now the tables have turned and Blaine hates Valentine's Day. He's so upset with himself for creating this whole relationship with Jeremiah in his head. Kurt comes out with his feelings for Blaine, who says he's not good at romance and doesn't want to screw things up.

When Tina goes to sing her love song ("My Funny Valentine" from Babes in Arms), both Quinn and Finn are feeling very ill. Tina isn't doing so well either, as she begins to cry while singing. Santana then outs Finn and Quinn for both being sick with the kissing cold. In the nurses office, Quinn insists they can't be anything until they both figure out what's going on with their respective flames, Rachel and Sam.

After Quinn gets picked up from school, Rachel takes care of Finn at the nurse's office. He says that kissing Quinn was like fireworks, but he never felt that way with Rachel. She's ready to be on her own and shows that by singing Katy Perry's "Firework."

She ends her Valentine's Day at Breadsticks with some of the glee clubbers. Kurt is holding a "Lonely Hearts Club" dinner there and the Warblers close out the episode with "Silly Love Songs" by Wings.

Following Sunday's big budget post-Super Bowl episode, 'Glee' softened things up for their Season 2 Valentine's Day program. Titled 'Silly Love Songs,' borrowed from the 1976 Wings song of the same name, McKinley High showed just how hard high school love triangles and crushes can be on the heart.

Puck starts off the episode with his eyes on Lauren, the school wrestler who maimed him during their 7-minutes in heaven. As Puck stares at his new luscious lust, she responds with a warm "stare at me again and I'll brake your nuts." Yup, love is in the air at McKinley High. Meanwhile, Finn is fighting off the ladies after his big Conference Championship win last week and his ego has gotten bigger than his head. Thing is, the only girl he wants is the one he can't have: his ex, Quinn, who's dating Sam.

On the homoerotic front, Blaine admits to Kurt that he's a "hopeless romantic" and that Valentine's Day is his favorite holiday. He then asks him for some love advice. "Do you think it's too much to sing to someone on Valentine's Day?" (Blaine, this is 'Glee' we're taking about. Sing your effin' heart out!) Kurt, a hopeless romantic himself, thinks he's the "someone" Blaine is talking about. Later, that "someone" turns out to be a junior manager Blaine's fallen for at the Gap. Blaine asks the Warblers -- the Dalton Academy glee club -- for help in serenading his crush off campus.

Back at McKinley, Mr. Schu wants the New Directions to partner up and pick out the world's greatest love songs. Finn, in turn, offers up his new found celebrity for a kissing booth, charging a "dollar a smooch," as a way to raise funds for the glee club. Santana's reaction: "I've kissed Finn and can I just say, not worth a buck. I would, however, pay $100 to jiggle one of his man boobs." The group then calls out Santana for her crass comments, leaving her in tears ... for all of two seconds.

Puck takes his obsession for Lauren to a new level performing Queen's 'Fat Bottomed Girls' on an electric guitar in Mr. Schu's room. Her response: "That's the first time anyone sang me a love song, and it made me feel like crap." Strike two for Puck. Having more luck are Artie and Mike, who cover Michael Jackson's 'P.Y.T' that ends with two babes -- Tina and Brittany -- in their arms.

Rachel takes a crack at the kissing booth and only gets a kiss on the cheek from Finn, but manages to confess her love for the jock, despite having cheated with Puck. Finn gives her a necklace he brought earlier in the year, but says he wants space. A jealous Santana, who once dated Puck, then starts a catfight with Lauren, who ends up tossing Santana down the hallway, in a fight scene that's goes down as the best moment of the episode, before Coach Beast breaks things up. Finn finally gets that kiss from Quinn after a paranoid Sam insists they do it. Too bad the former lovers see fireworks when their lips lock, and agree to meet and make-out when no one is looking.

Blaine and the Warblers head to the Gap and take on Robin Thicke's 'When I Get You Alone' in the middle of all the crewnecks and denim. His crush gets fired because apparently "you can't just bust a groove in the middle of somebody else's workplace." Despite getting negged big time, Kurt confronts Blaine about his subtle hints of affection and they agree that they are the new 'When Harry Met Sally.'

Santana figures out that Finn and Quinn are fooling around and vows revenge. Finn kisses every girl in school and only has a measly $324 to show for it. "That pays for half a ticket to Nationals," Mr. Schu thanks. Later on, Finn and Quinn's secret makeup session in the school auditorium lands them both in the nurse's office, where they both they find out they have the kissing disease mono. Rachel visits an ailing Quinn for a heart-to-heart that ends with her own heart broken as Finn confesses he doesn't see fireworks when they kiss. Cue Katy Perry's 'Fireworks,' which Rachel nails during her glee club love song performance.

Things end with Blaine, Kurt and the Warblers singing their hearts out on 'Silly Love Songs.' "Some people wanna fill the world with silly love songs/ And what's wrong with that?" the Paul McCartney lyrics ask. And 'Glee''s 'Silly Love Songs' episode answered just that question. Nothing at all.

L-O-V-E may have been the theme of tonight’s episode called “Silly Love Songs,” but L-O-C-O was more like it.

In preparation for Valentine’s Day, it seems everyone at McKinley either got the love bug (actually two got mono from frenching), on some fool’s errand of unrequited love at the Gap, or suddenly developed some crazy big love for a lady wrestler. Yep, teenage hormones are at stratospheric levels this week.

First, let’s entertain Puck’s fascination with Lauren Zizes. Her prize of seven minutes of heaven with arguably the hottest guy in school ended in disappointment. In the janitor’s closet, she tells him he’s an awful kisser, that he’s “scrawny” and a “sad sack.” A guy can only take so much.

Undeterred, Puck’s competitiveness and strange capitulation to a girl who doesn’t need him to be a protector or a provider prompts him to rock out one of the most fun serenade in Glee yet. Set to Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls,” Puck is mesmerizing as he tries his damnedest to impress, seduce and tempt Lauren. The sexy song fell short of her expectations. He tells her that she’s on the heavier side, but he’s into it. Ooof.

She tells him that it’s the first time someone has ever sang a love song to her. But, “it made me feel like crap,” she says.

This tug-and-play continues later on, catfight included with a jealous Santana in the hallway. Lauren handily won. Puck can’t help but be turned on, finally asking Lauren out on bended knees, ring pop in his hand, at the library. She takes it, but doesn’t make any promises. “I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly” means she’s not playing, dude.

In the meantime, the Russian roulette of recycled relationships intertwines Sam, Finn, Rachel and Quinn yet again. Finn, buoyed by his comeback status as Top Stud, sets out to mack out with Quinn again by setting up a kissing booth at school. Funds go to Glee’s trip to Nationals, of course. Quinn demurs, but quickly changes her mind when Sam, as her boyfriend, gets all up in her grill about how close Finn’s and Quinn’s faces were. Firework erupts. But not between them.

Rachel, meanwhile, tries to buy back Finn’s affection with a $100 bill. But he turns her way, and in his own touching way, gives her a holiday present he meant to give her before they broke up. It’s a sign (a closure perhaps?!) that she must rely on talent now, not love. Although her version of Katy Perry’s “Firework” left a lot to be desired (she needs to tone it down), one can’t help but feel for her, as she gamely stakes her independence.

Santana did her a favor, though, by cleverly exposing the rampant cheating of Quinn and the sham of Sam’s relationship by giving Queen Bee and Quarterback mono. As she explains, “Oh please, I’ve had mono so many times it turned into stereo.”

At the choir room, Artie continues his slaying of the Michael Jackson discography by ably performing “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing),” with Mike Chang dancing backup. Why is he on this show? Oh, right, the abs, which apparently is good enough for Tina Cohen-Chang, as she breaks down “My Funny Valentine” of the musical Babes in Arms into a crumpled mess.

Boy, do we miss Kurt to liven things up. Unfortunately, he’s playing second fiddle in his puppy-dog love/crush. Blaine may know what Kurt’s coffee order is, but he’s got no clue about Kurt’s interest in him as a boyfriend. Particularly because Blaine’s hot on Gap guy, Jeremiah, the one with the perfect locks. He even enlists the Warblers to do a Robin Thicke group performance of “When I Get You Alone,” creepily stalking the poor T-shirt folder at the store. He’s working, Blaine. Well, no longer, he got fired after Blaine ambushed him with his love song, and Jeremiah’s boss didn’t like it. Besides, Jeremiah told Blaine, he could get arrested dating him. Oh, the pits.

Kurt finally gets the courage to tell Blaine his feelings for him, and clueless Blaine finally gets it. They make some some reference about Meg Ryan, and they laughed about it like two gay guys at a Cher concert. Perhaps the friendship will lead to something, but for now performing Paul McCartney’s “Silly Love Songs” will do. All the patrons at Breadstix’s Lonely Hearts Club sure do appreciate it. Kurt says, “To all the singles out there, this is our year.”

While Sunday's post-Super Bowl episode of Glee was a "Thriller," fans don't have to wait long for more of their favorite show, which returns to its regular time (8 p.m. ET) on Tuesday.

In the episode, "Silly Love Songs," the glee-clubbers plan a kissing booth to celebrate Valentine's Day, which sounds like a recipe for disaster for McKinley High's lovesick student body. You know the adage – play with fire and you will get burned.

'Glee' turns up the romance on 'Silly Love Songs,' but hearts are also going to be broken in Season 2, Episode 12 of the hit Fox series.

The Valentine's Day episode explores budding love between many of its ensemble cast, beginning with Puck and Lauren. Puck can't get over his (almost) seven minutes in heaven with the newest member of New Directions, and marks his new infatuation with a cover of Queen's 'Fat Bottomed Girls.'

Finn is still riding high from his conference win, and every girl in the school wants to be his valentine. However, he puts his sights back on Quinn, ignoring the fact that Sam is mad for her.

Finn sets up a kissing booth to raise money for New Directions and the issue of "seeing fireworks" surfaces, as Rachel asks Finn if he ever felt the spark when they kissed. This opens things up for an all-too appropriate cover of Katy Perry's 'Firework.'

Meanwhile, Blaine is crushing hard on someone, and asks Kurt and the Warblers for advice on whether it would be cool to profess his love through song. Kurt is convinced he's the object of Blaine's affection, but (spoiler alert!) he soon finds out he's not when the Warblers head to the Gap to perform 'When I Get You Alone' for Blaine's love.

'Silly Love Songs,' borrows its title from the 1976 Wings song, which is also performed by Blaine and the Warblers in this episode.
